third annual Gulf Research Meeting will take place from July 11 to 14, 2012 at the University of Cambridge in the UK

We would like to alert you that the third annual Gulf Research Meeting will take place from July 11 to 14, 2012 at the University of Cambridge in the UK. The Gulf Research Meeting is organized by the Gulf Research Centre Cambridge with the aim to provide an academic environment to foster Gulf studies and to encourage scholarly and academic exchange among those working on or interested in the developments that are defining the Gulf region and their constituent societies.
We especially encourage young scholars to participate. The meeting last July brought together over 400 scholars, specialists and students The Call for Papers for the 2012 meeting has now been issued and we have selected 19 workshops in the field of international relations, politics, economics, and social issues pertaining to the Gulf region. For a full list on the workshop, their description, further information about the meeting and the registration process, please go to the GRM website under: http://grm.grc.net
